End Result: Step 1: Ok, now that we got all the supplies, open up a fresh document. I like to use the size 375x140 pixels, but any signature size will do. Step 2: Grab the paint bucket tool and fill the background with a deep blue. I used the color #17232c. Step 3: Create a new layer (Ctrl+Shift+N) and set your foreground color to white. Now grab the brush tool and brush the whole document with those abstract brushes I had your download. Step 4: Open up one of those abstract renders I had you download, Resize it (Ctrl+T), and insert it into our signature. Step 5: As your probably noticed, our render doesn't match our sig at all. Lets remove the color for now. Press Ctrl+U and drag the saturation bar all the way to the left. Step 6: Grab the rectangular marquee tool. On the top bar set feather to 20 px. Now make a selection on the document, and gently feather the edges of the render, making it flow. To do this simply move the section along an edge and press delete. Step 7: Create a new layer and set your foreground color to a bright turquoise (#42ffd5). Now grab the gradient tool with the turquoise to transparent gradient. Now create a gradient all the way across the sig from right to left. Step 8: Set the layer mode to overlay and lower the opacity to 90%. Step 9: Now merge all your layers together (Ctrl+Shift+E). Now make a duplicate of the layer (Ctrl+J) and set the top layer's mode to overlay. Lower the opacity to 80%. Step 10: Create a new brightness & contrast adjustment layer. To do this go to layer>new adjustment layer>brightness and contrast. Bump the contrast up to +20. Step 11: Thats pretty much it. Now it up to you to add a boarder and some text. Here's how mine turned out in the end. |
