Step 1:
Take an image of a person playing basket ball and open it in Photoshop. Please respect copyright laws. Select Pen Tool to make a path around the player’s image. Copy “Ctrl+J” the layer.
Step 2:
Go to Image > Adjustment > Threshold and set the Threshold Level = 97 to make the image black and white as shown in the screenshot
Step 3:
Make a selection around the image by clicking on the image layer while holding down the “Ctrl” key. Open a new layer and rename it, Skin. Choose Foreground Color as #ffcc99 and fill it in the player’s skin using Brush Tool as shown in the screenshot.
Step 4:
Open a new layer and rename it, Shorts. Set the Foreground Color as #ed093a. Set the layer’s Blending Mode to Multiply. Use Brush Tool to fill the color in his shorts and head band as shown in the screenshot.
Step 5:
Open another layer and rename it, Basket Ball. Set the Foreground Color as #e65802. Set the layer’s Blending Mode to Multiply. Use Brush Tool to fill the color in the basket ball as shown in the screenshot.
Step 6:
Open a new layer and rename it, Shoes. Set the Foreground Color to #8b8d0b. Set the layer’s Blending Mode to Multiply. Use Brush Tool to fill the color in the player’s shoes as shown in the screenshot.
Step 7:
Open another layer and rename it, Socks. Set the Foreground Color as #ed093a. Set the layer’s Blending Mode to Multiply. Use Brush Tool to fill the color in player’s socks as shown in the screenshot.
Step 8:
Open one more layer now and rename it, Lips. Set the Foreground Color as #d6736b. Set the layer’s Blending Mode to Multiply. Use Brush Tool to fill the color in player’s lips as shown in the screenshot.
