Step 1

This tutorial is for intermediate photoshop users and it should not be hard to do so let`s start. Create a new document sized 600×600 with a fairly gray background. Create a new layer and grab the rectangle tool. Using black colour create a shape like below:

Step 2

Create a new layer and using the lasso tool or poligonal marquee tool, create a shape like below. Fill the shape white and lower the opacity to around 10-20% now go to the layers panel right click on this layer – Create clipping mask. Now the shape you just created should exist only over the button.

Step 3

Create another new layer and pick up a 1 pixel brush or pencil and draw the edges like I did in the picture below. Use and hold SHIFT key-button to draw straight lines.

Now grab a soft eraser with around 5 pixels width , Opacity 90% and start erasing the margins untill you obtain a button like below:

Step 4

Grab the rounded rectangle tool again , make a shape like below, right click the shape- Make selection. Once you will have a selection like below let`s cut it. I use Ctrl+X.

Repeat the step for all layers.
