how to make Apple Text Effect

Hello, today we will create “Apple text” effect.

We will use text tool, clipping mask, quick mask, gradients.

This is photoshop tutorial, about “how to create apple text effect”.

Create new photoshop document (Ctrl+N), with 500px width and 500px height.

I use Myriad Pro Semibold font with 120px size.

with black color.

Now create new layer and with pen tool create shape like this.

Right click on it and choose Create vector mask.

fill this layer with white color (alt+backspace), be sure your background must be set to white. You can use shortcuts (D set to default colors, then X reverse your background and foreground).

this is what you will achieve after this steps.

Create clipping mask for our white layer.

Hold down alt and click here.

Then choose erase tool.

almost done, add drop shadow effect in blending options.

Right click on iped2 text layer and choose blending options.

You’re done.
