In this tutorial you are going to create a bubbles brush that follows a path created with pen tool and use it in an advertisment for Iphone using Photoshop. Step 1. Start of with a new document whatever size you want, I used 600×600 for this tutorial, for real ad work I use higher resolutions for printing. Grab the gradient tool from pink to red , radial and drag it from center to exterior like below: Step 2. Add you iphone image. I used this one: Iphone vector . I added it to a new layer on my document and set blending mode to Multiply. Step 3. In this step I will show you how to create the bubbly brush I was talking about. Select a Drop Shadow Round Brush and click the settings button that I have marked with an arrow in the picture below: A panel will open and we will need to add and modify the Shape Dynamics with the settings below: And the Scattering. Also add Smoothing. We now have the brush. Leave it as this and grab the pen tool. Start making a path in the form of the Iphone like I did below: With the foreground colour red and the path complete on a new layer right click it and select : Stroke Path-Brush and tick simmulate pressure. This is what you should achieve: Step 4. Set the blending mode to Divide. Now grab again the pen tool and create a shape like below With a blue colour as foreground colour and a new layer right click again and Stroke Path-Brush and tick simmulate pressure. Grab an eraser and erase some parts of the wave to make it look like it`s going behind the Iphone also. Set blending mode to Screen. Step 5. Create another new layer but behind all the layers except the background one. Grab the Custom Shape Tool and with the settings below create a shape like this one: Now select the pen tool and again right click on it Stroke Path-Brush and tick simmulate pressure. This is the result: Set blending mode to Divide and you are finished:
